Tenther Radio Episode 6: Sheriff Mack
In this episode, hosts John Bush and Michael Boldin talk about how big corporate farming interests that backed passage of the Food Safety Modernization Act (S. 510) are in for a surprise, we’ll tell you what Washington State is doing to combat food tyranny. They also discuss the battle between Rick Santorum and Rick Perry. Perry maintains that it’s “New York’s perogative” to allow same sex marriage, while Santorum thinks the feds should have control over this issue – and much more.
Joining Bush and Boldin as our special guest is Sheriff Richard Mack – the former two term sheriff of Graham County, Arizona, who sued the Clinton administration during the mid-90s over the Brady Bill. His case went all the way to the US Supreme Court, and he WON! He currently travels around the country educating sheriffs about their powers to protect their constituents from abuse by the federal government. His book, “The County Sheriff: America’s Last Hope,” is about that very thing.

Tenther Radio: Paul Armentano with Phil Russo and Michael Boldin
Hosts Phil Russo and Michael Boldin talk with Paul Armentano about the recent bill introduced in Congress by Barney Frank and Ron Paul – to return police authority and decision-making over marijuana to the states. Paul gives an overview HR2306, which he says should be called the “let the states decide marijuana policy” act. He clarifies that the bill does not legalize marijuana, but that it only gets the federal government out of the equation, as it is for alcohol, where there’s 50 states with 50 different policies. Paul argues that this should be the path for marijuana – get the federal government out of the business of enforcing marijuana laws in the states and let those states that wish to pursue different marijuana policies than the blanket prohibition that we have today – let’s give them the option to do so.

Paul Armentano is the Deputy Director of NORML and the NORML Foundation. Tenther Radio Episode 4: Paul Armentano, Robert Scott Bell
In this episode, hosts Phil Russo and Michael Boldin are joined by Paul Armentano, the Deputy Director of NORML and the NORML Foundation. His recent op-ed at CNN.com (read here) discusses the Ron Paul-Barney Frank legislation to return marijuana decision-making to the states, and he discusses his view that such decisions should be decentralized, and not in the hands of the federal government.
Paul also talks about the Obama administration’s about-face on marijuana policy and its recent use of threats to individual states to get them to stop implementation of medical marijuana programs in New Jersey and elsewhere. He also points out that in Vermont, Maine and other states, they ignored the threats and have gotten away with it. A blueprint for other issues too?
We’re also joined by Robert Scott Bell, a leading natural health expert and host of a daily radio show on Natural News, and a weekly 2 hour radio show on GCN. Robert talks with us about unconstitutional actions by the FDA, USDA, and other alphabet soup agencies. Robert explains how nullification isn’t just a good political idea, but also a matter of life or death – a subject he’s covered as a featured speaker at previous Nullify Now! events (and his upcoming speaking appearance at Nullify Now!
